Careers Connect Canada grew out of a simple observation: Ontario is one of the most diverse regions in the world — and yet too many of its people were being left out of the hiring process.
We started as part of Community Outreach Canada, a platform dedicated to connecting people with opportunity. On that platform we hosted over 10,000 employers and thousands of candidates — but over time, we realized that job seekers and employers needed something more focused. A dedicated space built entirely around inclusive hiring, where every background is treated as an asset and every employer is accountable to the same values.
So, we built it. Careers Connect Canada is that space.
To make inclusive hiring the standard — not the exception — across Ontario.
We believe that when employers have access to the full diversity of their community’s talent, and when job seekers are seen and supported fairly, everyone wins. Businesses grow stronger. Communities become more equitable. And people find work that reflects their true potential.
We work with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, retailers, hospitality employers, construction and trades companies, tech firms, healthcare providers, and training organizations — all united by a commitment to building workplaces that reflect the communities they serve.
Our platform was designed from the ground up with inclusion in mind. Diversity fields, NOC code integration, and accessibility features aren’t optional extras — they’re part of the core experience for every employer and every job seeker.
Most job boards are transactional. We’re relational. We provide practical resources for employers — including training-fund guidance and our Employer Information Kit — and direct support for job seekers who need it. When the hire succeeds, everyone moves forward.
We’re not a global platform trying to serve everyone. We’re a community platform built for the specific needs, strengths, and realities of Ontario. That focus makes us better at what we do.
